Jose Cuervo Milwaukee Shootout: ROX Pros Kristen Batt and Raquel Ferreira

Jose Cuervo returned to one of their top spots, Bradford Beach, to host their second annual Milwaukee Shootout, where the top 4 Men’s and Women’s teams around the country compete for a lot of money and ultimate bragging rights.

Kristen Batt and Raquel Ferreira are making huge prints around the country with their latest finishes on the NVL, Dig the Beach and Jose Cuervo finishes. The closed the day Saturday going undefeated all day. In the first semi-final of the day on Sunday, Ferreira and Batt dethroned the previously undefeated Jenny Kropp and Whitney Pavlik in three sets and securing their spot into the finals against Jennifer Fopma and Brooke Sweat. Their defeat was the first blemish on Kropp and Pavlik’s perfect series record as the duo displayed a hard fought match until the end, ending their reign. Ultimately, the title of the Milwaukee Shootout and winners of the grand prize money went to Sweat and Fopma who defeated Raquel Ferreira and Kristen Batt in a tight 3-game match.

Although the team didn’t take home the title, Batt and Ferreira did not leave empty handed. Not only did the Jose Cuervo team put them up at world famous, Iron Horse Hotel and spoil them with luxurious gifts, the amount of support and giveaways sent our athletes home with one of the most memorable weekends.
