"The Axis boys played in the first SAVL championships on Saturday and for the first time they played in a large convention center format. It was wonderful to see all of the support from the Axis family in attendance and the boys all commented on that throughout the day. Thanks to you all.
After starting the day 7-1 through their first four matches, the boys faced off against Carolina Islanders knowing that they needed at least a split in order to make the championship match. The first game was close for the first half and then too many unforced errors caused the boys to get beat handily. They fought back in game two after coach Jillian told them that they had to play together and not individually. That started the "Together!!" chant out of each huddle from that point on. They took those words to heart and fought through a close second game to come out on top in the end by a score of 26-24 putting them into the championship match against none other than Carolina Islanders.
It was a hard fought battle, but some late unforced errors due to a lack of focus caused them to lose 23-25 in game one. Coach Charles, in his own words, "absolutely lit them up" before the start of game two. The boys reacted with a tremendous performance in game two throttling the Islanders 25-12 setting up the deciding game three where the boys requested of coach, "Please yell at us again!!"
The final game did not start out so well with the boys falling behind 7-1, but they dug deep and fought back after a great timeout by coach Jillian to remind them to play together and focus on their fundamentals. They switched sides only down 6-8, but the Islanders were fighting hard, also. Down 9-13, the coaches called their final timeout just to try to calm the boys down. Three points later they found themselves serving down 11-14 and no chance to make an error. By this time there was a good crowd around the court and every point ended with a huge cheer from the Axis faithful. Islanders called a timeout at 14-14, but our boys didn't let that phase them and they finished by winning the match 16-14 and the first ever SAVL Boys Championship!!! They really finished out the season strong…..…Axis strong!!
It has to be mentioned about the class of the Islanders players and coaches. As our boys were finishing up pictures on the court with their medals, the Islanders boys came under the net one last time and were congratulating our boys with not only high-fives and handshakes, but with hugs and a great deal of respect. That is something that will really stick with the boys and the Axis family. What a great way to end the inaugural season!!!
Congratulations 15 Boys Rox!
Axis Strong!
Axis Proud!"

]]>With a mental toughness unlike any other 16 year old combined with great ball control, Nicole Peterson is a volleyball standout for her Excel Northwest Volleyball Team. She plays for Excel NW 16 Team Rox and they recently competed in the Colorado Crossroads Volleyball Tournament taking home 3rd place in the 16-open Division, snagging a bid to Nationals!
If that wasn’t cool enough, Nicole was ecstatic when she was notified that she made the Colorado Crossroads Dream Team as its youngest member. She was selected merely on “winning her team to bid” as an outstanding setter. Grabbing everyone’s attention with her high level of communication and her drive to win, Nicole prides herself on being “smart on the court”. We never would have expected that answer from a 16 year old! Impressive!
Coach Lisa Van Sickle says, “She can will herself and the team to do what it takes to win. She loves to win and compete. I think her desire, passion and volleyball IQ sets her apart from the rest. She has a lot of power and uses it to her advantage. If I had to describe her in one word it would be "Mentally Tuff". She does not stress when we are behind, it’s as if she knows we are going to win. We depend on her a lot, as her game is complete. She does everything for us. She sets, hits outside and leads our team in digs. She is the total package any coach would want on their team.” Recently verbally committing to play sand and indoor volleyball at the University of San Francisco, Nicole has so much to look forward to. Rox Volleyball is so proud of you Nicole. Keep up the great work!
Hometown: Portland, OR
Favorite thing about volleyball: I love the intensity and team aspect of the game and I also love to win.
Game-day Fuel: Water
Lucky Charm: “My mom always wear a charm bracelet that I have had for a long time and we still add charms to it.”
Hobbies: Besides volleyball, tennis
Hard work, determination and communication are three necessities that a good volleyball team must come equipped with in order to have a chance to be the best they can be. With indoor volleyball season in full swing, teams are fighting tooth and nail to capture bids for the chance to compete in the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships.
Rox Volleyball takes pride in our ROX Teams, especially those who strive to make a name for themselves in the volleyball world, not only by their exceptional skills but also through teamwork and willpower. With that said, we want to extend a huge congratulations to all of our ROX Teams who have taken the bull by the horn… well not exactly, not necessarily but all of those teams who have received a bid to fight for a title at Nationals in Minneapolis, Minnesota June 24-July 3! We couldn’t be more proud to be your club sponsor and can’t wait to watch you girls compete in June. Now is the time to show what you’re made of!

Slowly but surely making a name for herself, Beall is not only an important member of CC Crossfire Volleyball 121s, but she is one of the cutest little girls we have ever met. Full of spunk, Beall came into our Rox Booth often and always made us crack a smile, whether it was with her jokes or her crazy dance moves. With her ever-present bottle of Powerade, Beall is always laughing and giggling with her teammates.
Granted “shopping for Rox brands” (her favorite item being our Rox Vintage Hoodie) isn’t listed amongst most 12 year olds interesting fact list, but what really stuck out to us is that she is also a straight- A student! Can you believe that?! During her off time, this outdoorsy gal loves reeling in some good ole’ fish in her hometown of Portland, TX. Want to hear something adorable? Before every game, this superstitious volleyballer always insists her “coach” tie her matching bow in her braid. Mom is not allowed! (You never mess with the mojo!)
We are extremely proud to be able to feature this volleyball all-star as our JVA World Challenge Player Spotlight. Do you want to be featured as our next Player Spotlight? Then make sure you pop in the booth at the Volleyball Festival in Phoenix, AZ, June 26th-29th for the chance to win!
]]>As we wrap up our first day here at the JVA World Challenge it was nothing short of fabulous! With Molten USA mini balls flying off the hook (well out of their ball cart) andRox Volleyball bathing suits catching everyone's eye, we couldn't have asked for a better first day. We got to enjoy some of our Rox Teams such as Absolute Volleyball Academy tear it up on the volleyball court while others volleyballers managed to show off there line dancing skills to the Boot Scootin' Boogie with Jinx the JVA mascot at our Dance Off! Kids were soaring into the clouds on the bungee jump on one side of the convention center and showing their best skills for recruits on the other side. Oh and our Player Spotlight contest... was such a hit and it's not even day 2 yet! If you haven't had a chance to nominate somone make sure you do because you'll have a chance to win a $50 shopping spree in our booth tomorrow.
So after a day like today we're ready to rest our feet tonight and get back at it tomorrow! We better see you!
]]>As Highlands Performance Volleyball geared up for two long weekends at the Mideast Qualifier, first in St. Louis and then in Indianapolis, they had no clue that an unfortunate event was about to take place.
After 15 Rox teammates took the stage and captured 1st Place on day one of the MEQ, they gathered their items and geared up to leave, just like any other day on the volleyball courts, or so they thought… While packing backpack after backpack, the team realized one of their parent’s backpacks was missing and that they had a backpack from another volleyball club. Hoping the two backpacks were just accidently swapped, Highland parents returned the volleyball bag to its rightful owner. After realizing that the rental car keys (shared between 3 players/parents), wallet, cash, cards and I.D. was missing along with the bag, the parents searched frantically all around the convention center hoping to get a glimpse of the missing bag, but came up empty handed. (Talk about frustrating!) The parent of the missing bag noticed that several charges from the stolen credit card were run just minutes before, right across the street from the convention center, and immediately reported the robbing to security and to Indianapolis police.
This tight-knit group didn’t let this unfortunate event get them down as they all came together and provided this parent with not only some cash to get by, but also a whole lot of comfort. Thankful for a recent purchase of an ID Lock Program and a helpful rental car center, everyone was able to get back to Kansas City safely.
Once home, the Highland coaches settled in to watch the game tape when something caught their eye in the lower left corner of the screen. Could it be? Yes it could! They saw the backpack thief! A clear image of the backpack bandit’s face was perfectly captured just off the end of their volleyball court. How lucky! The video has since been transferred to Indianapolis police in hopes of catching the crook.
Highlands 15 ROX ended up taking home 37th place among 124 teams proving that they can face anything as long as they face it as a team. We are so proud to be able to call Highlands Performance Volleyball a ROX team and as Highlands Club Director, Randy Condit says, “Just a day in the life of club volleyball. We wouldn’t have it any other way!”
We also want to congratulate all of our other ROX teams on the great outcomes at the Mideast Qualifier, especially these teams with top 10 finishes in their divisions! Way to go girls!

]]>As the rain came pouring down at 6AM Saturday morning we did our best to stay optimistic… and we’re happy we did! The dark clouds finally parted Saturday, making way for a beautiful sunny day for the opening day of First Coast Volleyball Association Beach Volleyball Kick-off tournament!
If you stopped by our tent, you were able to get in on our awesome closeout sale - beachwear gear such as Roxstars and Reversible Amp 2 tops, Reversible Teeny Pros and Nectar Shorts. Some of these sold for only $10… but don’t worry you can still get your hands on these steals by visiting us online. We even allowed customers to customize boardshorts in custom color ways at this event only. It can’t get much cooler than that!
As beach goers came in to snag some awesome deals, they also had the chance to take a look at our new beachwear line that was on display, which was even a huge hit with Jazzi, the English Pointer! She strutted her stuff around the beach wearing our Roxstar top in the new, granny/surf, color way!
While some of our Roxstars manned the tent, others owned the volleyball court, as our very own Jordan Cangelosi won 1st Place in AA on Saturday playing side-by-side with her sister as her partner. Jordan and her coed partner Clay had a clean sweep, as they took home gold on Sunday in the Coed A Division. “Winning with my little sister was great, especially because of how tough the competition was,” Jordan said. “It was one of the toughest AA tournaments we have played in and winning women’s with a 14 year-old partner is pretty awesome. The icing on the cake was winning Coed A with my partner Clay Messenger. We had a come-from-behind win (down 17-20 and won 22-20). It was really cool to be able to have such a successful weekend in my hometown and having Rox (the best company ever!!) there, as a part of it was even better.”
We always love hanging out with First Coast Volleyball Association! With all the great competition and smiling faces, FCVA’s next volleyball tournament (April 26-27) can’t come soon enough! We better see you there!
]]>This tip of the week is courtesy of Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association's 14-local and 16-local coach and one of Rox Volleyball's talented Sales Rep, Julie Fye. Julie has been coaching for 4 years, 2 of those years with JJVA. Prior to coaching, Julie was a setter for the University of North Florida and Shippenburg University. With indoor season in full swing, she uses the pit drill to make sure her girls are ready for anything that comes their way.
“To me pit drill is one of the best defensive drills to always keep girls ready. If girls played with a mind set that the ball was always coming to them they would always be prepared to react and move to the ball. Pit drill is also really great to teach the girls how to push through and finish a drill/game when they’re mentally and physically tired. Lastly, it helps teach the girls how to keep the court balance.”
]]>This weekend was one for the books as many of our Rox Teams placed in the top 10 in their divisions at the USA volleyball-sanctioned Junior National Qualifier, Colorado Crossroads Volleyball Tournament! Although we weren’t there in person, we definitely were there in spirit with our Rox teams dominating!
As the third largest indoor volleyball event, Colorado Crossroads brought the heat to Denver with 1,285 girls’ volleyball teams and 45,000 people to town, but it sure was easy to spot the beautiful array of Rox jerseys, especially Show Me displaying their vibrant Roxamation Fade Jerseys. Volleyballers bounced all around the convention center in the huge bounce houses, while others were reaching for the stars at the demo court on one side of the convention center. Well if you were at all worried about having a bad hair day while at the convention center, the hair gods were ready to tame anything. Girls were lining up waiting to be prepped with some curls & pearls…well not pearls exactly, but they were getting dolled up for their championship pictures!
Although we weren’t able to attend, we were able to keep up-to-date on all the action with live streaming from Coaches Aid and from all the awesome videos and pictures that Colorado Crossroads posted on theirFacebook page! I mean who doesn’t love a man dressed from head to toe in royal blue, even sporting a blue Mohawk, courtesy of a Gainesville Juniors Volleyball Club supporter! As videos surfaced, the girls were getting pumped up for their volleyball matches by groovin’ to the Wobble as cheers illuminated throughout the convention center – making us just a little jelly we were missing it.
Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association 17 National ROX- Adis team made a name for themselves in Denver, taking home 3rd in the 17 USA Division. JJVA’s CEO, Mary Andrews had nothing but great things to say; “I am proud of all of our JJVA National Rox Teams that competed in Denver at the Colorado Crossroads Qualifier. We are extremely pleased the 17N Team Rox Adis team won third place and as a result locked up a Bid to the USAV National Championships to be held in Minnesota this summer. They proved themselves to be an exceptional team with great character and stamina. We are certain more of our JJVA National Rox Teams will win bids as we travel to compete in the Disney Showcase and the Big South Qualifiers in the next few weeks. I am JJVA Team Rox Proud!” Excel Northwest Volleyball Club -16 Team Rox also won 3rd place in their division, also sending them to the USAV National Championships. Way to go girls!
If all this excitement wasn’t cool enough, the Paralympic Sitting Volleyball teams made an appearance. Team USA, China, Russia and Brazil played exhibition games during the tournament and afterwards signed autographs on tons of volleyball gear. If that weren’t enough, the event also hosted a six-team men’s college volleyball tournament at the same time. Talk about some organizational skills!
With so many great volleyball teams sporting our Rox volleyball jerseys, we want to congratulate every single one of you. Here’s a special little shout out to our Rox Teams who made it in the top 10 of their division.

]]>Sunshine, smiling faces and lots of volleyball action were in store for us as we headed over to San Juan, Puerto Rico to get front row on some volleyball action at the Puerto Rico AAU Grand Prix. As we were the sponsor of this awesome event, we handed out Rox Volleyball T-shirts and we couldn’t help but notice all of the smiling, faces in the San Juan Convention Center. They always make us feel so welcomed! The winning teams in each age group received a free entry to the AAU Girls’ National Volleyball Championships, so you can just imagine all the intense volleyball games we were able to witness. Every game was a nail biter, leaving us wanting more. We want to congratulate all of the volleyball teams making it in the top 10 in their age group, especially our Rox teams: Orlando Volleyball Academy 11 Asics and Powers Volleyball Club 18 Black both bringing home 5th in their divisions!
As we boarded the plane to head back to the sunshine state, we reminisced on the great weekend we had at the Puerto Rico AAU Grand Prix! Wondering what our next stop is going to be? We’ll be sponsoring the JVA World Challenge in Houston Texas, April 4-6, 2014! We’ll be on hand with a fun photo booth and prizes in store. You won’t want to miss it!
]]>Destinee Hooker has a vertical of 43”! WOW! When compared to an average vertical of high school volleyball player… she easily doubles it! The average vertical jump for a female high school volleyball athlete is roughly 24”, so we have some work to do!
After entertaining our fascination with how high Destinee can jump, we decided to gather the best 4 exercises to help volleyball athletes like us improve our vertical, or at least try… and hey, a good workout to burn off that extra cheese pizza we had yesterday isn’t a bad idea!
It’s pretty simple… since your vertical jump is largely a function of strength, the stronger you are in your legs, the higher you’re going to jump! We decided to come up with a way to help you increase your vertical and make you a stronger, better volleyball player. We designed what we like to call the “Volleyball ROX Star Challenge”!
The first thing you’re going to want to do is throw on your favorite Rox gear and stretch. Don’t argue with us! Just do it, okay!? The last thing we want you to do is tweak a muscle while ROX-ing out during our volleyball workout challenge. Since you’ll be working most of your leg muscles, you’ll want to do an array of stretches to help loosen them up, such as the hamstring stretch, kneeling quadriceps stretch and the step drop stretch.
Okay, now that you no longer feel like a brand new rubber band, are you ready for a challenging circuit to help improve your vertical and make you a volleyball standout?
Here we go!
Jump Squats
Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and position yourself in a squatting position. Engage your core and jump up explosively! When you return to land, try to do it as quietly as possible. Do 15 jump squats before moving on to the next exercise.
Muscles working: Quadriceps & Hamstrings (primarily) & Calves
Box Jumps
Face the step or the box that you’re going to be using. With your feet shoulder width apart, bend your knees slightly, throw your arms back and simultaneously spring up onto the box or step. Then jump backwards off the box and land back down on earth. Do this 15 times before you even think about stopping. And yes, we’re counting!
Muscles Working: Quadriceps, Calves, Hamstrings
Toe Raises
Toe raises can be used with the box or on a step, which, of course, will be a bit easier. Stand in a normal position with your feet shoulder width apart; raise up on your tippie toes, now back down. To make this harder, lift your right foot up and raise up on your tippie toes of your left foot, then switch feet. Do 25 reps and switch legs. To challenge yourself, you can hold 10-pound weights in both hands as you perform this exercise.
Muscles Working: Calves
Do 3 reps of this entire circuit and VOILA, you have accomplished your very first Volleyball ROX Star Challenge!
See, that wasn’t so bad! It’s just another way to spice up the competition! Do this workout roughly 3-4 times a week and measure how much your vertical has improved! Just keep jumping, jumping, jumping and one-day maybe we’ll give Destinee a run for her money… well, we can hope, can’t we?!
]]>They just recently won the NCVA Presidents Day Tournament in San Jose, CA and it seemed to be a rather easy task prior to the finals, beating every team in just 2 games. During the finals they realized it was not going to be as easy as thought. They were up against the roaring Absolute Volleyball Academy from North California, who was the #1 seeded team in the tournament and ranked #13 in the nation. Dressed to impress, in their black Kona ½ Sleeve Rox Volleyball Jerseys, they were ready to take the court. With their powerful hitting and strong blocking, Excel came out on top, beating Absolute VBC once again winning in just two games, 25-15, 25-22. Outside hitter, Brooke Van Sickle led the team with 80 kills and 10 blocks, middle blocker Jasmine Gross showed off her skills with 21.5 blocks and 51 kills and Nicole Peterson added another 54 kills!
Would you believe us if we told you they also showed no mercy at the University of Oregon MLK tournament? Well they didn’t! They waltzed right on by every volleyball team also beating them all in just a whopping 2 games! As they continue to compete for #1 in their national tournaments, Excel NW has decided competing in the 18’s division locally would best prepare them for the intense volleyball competition that lies ahead.
Combining their skills with their compelling drive, Excel NW 16 Rox is quickly making a name for themselves in the volleyball world. They have 6 tournaments left and we couldn’t be more excited to see what else this standout volleyball team has in store! Keep up the great work girls; we're rooting for you girls!
]]>They’ve earned respect around Texas by digging deep and qualifying for the Tour of Texas and they’veABSOLUTELY dominated their division, proving to be a force to be reckoned with.
In 2006 Katy Garza and Jerry Linch merged two clubs together to create the ultimate volleyball powerhouse, Absolute Volleyball Academy (AVA). As the home to two National Champions: the 2009 USAV National Champions- 18 Performance Team captured Gold in the National Division and 2012 USAV National Champions - 14 Rox captured Gold in the National Division, AVA is dedicated to teaching boys and girls ages 6-18 volleyball skills, how to achieve individual excellence and the core aspects to create a successful volleyball team.
They kicked off the new year by bringing the heat at the Houston Power League Volleyball Tournament with their 15 Select team winning 1st in pool, 12 Rox winning 2nd in the Gold Bracket, 15 Rally earning 1st in pool, 15 Attack taking home 2nd and 13 Power winning 1st place in their division! If that’s not cool enough, they also recently swept AAU Super Regional Volleyball Tournament Cinderella style, and February isn’t even over yet!
“Our vision of ‘whole-player’ development charges us with the task of preparing our players for the physical, emotional and psychological demands that high-level competition places upon athletes. - AVA”
This is Rox Volleyball’s 6th year sponsoring AVA of Texas and we’re as excited as ever to see what they have in store for the rest of the 2014 club volleyball season. Club Co-Director, Chaz Hulett, said, “Our multi-year partnership with Rox Volleyball has cemented our organization as one of the most visible and successful boys and girls programs in the country. We wear the ROX brand during events across the country with our heads high knowing we are supporting quality merchandise made to protect and support our athletes on the biggest stage. We look to continue our partnership with ROX Volleyball for many years to come.“
AVA of Texas is continually ROX-ing out the latest and greatest in Rox Volleyball Gear including the Roxamation Diamond Sublimated Jersey, which is currently exclusive to Team Rox Clubs. We’re honored to be the official outfitters for the volleyball athletes, coaches and fans of Absolute Volleyball Academy of Texas and are extremely excited to watch them continue to bring the heat for the years to come! Rox On AVA… Rox On!
]]>Dig, set, spike… Ahhhh Ace!” This was the chant of the weekend at the Rox Volleyball sponsored Festival Fiesta Classic in Glendale, Arizona February 15-17. These volleyball players were playing in the big leagues at the University of Phoenix Stadium home to the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals. The whole stadium was roaring with excitement with 270 volleyball teams and to capture all the action Fiesta had live game webcasts by Volleyball Network TV. Some of that highlights included TX Alliance 17 Team Rox taking home the gold in 17/18 Club…and boy did they look good in their Roxmation Fade Sublimated Jerseys!
TX Alliance wasn’t the only Rox Team dominating and looking great while doing it! Right beside them with Gold in 13/14 Open was Aspire 14 ROX and Coloardo Classix 16 Blue Team Rox with Gold in 15/16 Club. Way to go ladies! You definitely were the Queens of the Courts this weekend! Be sure to check out their Rox Gear Line-up below!
Off the courts there was a lot of action too. Like in the Rox Volleyball booth! We hope you were able to stop by our booth between all the volleyball madness to see the array of colors from all of the vibrant Rox Volleyball swag. This tourney’s must-haves were our old time fan faves, the Rox Volleyball Capris and Full Zip Hoodies. If you were in the booth you probably would have also joined in on all the exciting dance-offs. Roxanne, our manniquin, even took some time away from posing, to show off some of her signature moves!
While in the booth we hope you were able to nominate your favorite player or coach for the player spotlight. With the heap of entries, it was an incredibly tough decision but in the end we chose the one… and only…. Hallie Haymes of White Tank Mountain Volleyball Club! Check out just why we chose this outstanding volleyball athlete here!
Festival Fiesta Classic sure showed us a good time but our feet have seen better days from all the moves we busted. Now that’s our time in Arizona is over (for now) it’s time to get some foot massages, rest our eyes and keep on keeping on in time to gear up for Junior Volleyball Association’s World Challenge in Houston, TX, March 4-6. We have some amazing things in the works so we better see you there!
You can check out all the results here on Volleyball Festival’s website!
]]>At only 12 years old, Hallie Haymes is one amazing kid and she’s just getting started! This volleyball athlete is from Phoenix, AZ and plays on 13R White Tanks Volleyball Club team. She started playing volleyball only 1 year ago. As an avid soccer player, Hallie wanted a new challenge and she turned to volleyball. She raves about how much she loves the team aspect of the sport and the intense volleyball matches she’s been apart of. This 5’ 2” libero is a total ROX star!
Hallie was chosen not only because of her extraordinary digs but simply because of her incredible character. She has won “Character of the Month” award, “Friendliest” award and is even a “Garbage Picker-upper” award. Did you even know that award existed, because we didn’t!
One thing that really caught our eye about this volleyball fanatic is that she is an advocate for special needs kids at her school. Hallie really shows the meaning of leading by example. After she runs her mile in P.E. she doesn’t stop like all the other kids do. She puts her volleyball endurance into action and continues to keep running to catch up to one of the special needs kids. She does this to help to encourage them to finish their required mile for P.E. class. Yup, she blew our minds away too!
Congratulations Hallie, we’re excited to feature you as the Rox Volleyball Player Spotlight for Volleyball Festival’s Festival Fiesta Classic.
]]>Presidents Day weekend signifies that Club Volleyball is in full swing as volleyballers pack their bags and gear up travel to volleyball tournaments all across the country.
This week, as many before, started with Mother Nature dealing obstacles before the athletes and their families even left home. Airport closures and blizzards were upon many cities along with concerns if travel was even allowed and if various volleyball tournaments were even going to happen. While the weekend looked bleak, Mother Nature showed some sympathy and calmed her fury allowing all tournaments to continue with some minor modifications.
Saturday morning a talented voice sang the National Anthem to tens of thousands of volleyball players across the nation kicking off the weekend’s volleyball competition.
The exhausting travel delays seemed to have no impact on many of our Team Rox Clubs as they remained focused and excelled into Gold Brackets.

]]>Born in 2005, Altitude Volleyball Club serves both boy and girl volleyball athletes as young as 4 years old, not only in Northwest Indiana but also the Chicago Southland. Starting with only 6 volleyball teams and rapidly growing to 30 teams, Altitude had no trouble establishing their presence in the volleyball world by earning quite a few Top 10 finishes in National Championship Tournaments and over a hundred local tournaments. As a volleyball club they focus on developing the game for their future while striving to bring the best practices from programs such as USA Volleyball, to ensure that even their youngest athletes are learning the core skills and life lessons starting at a young age. They even offer a very successful youth program that includes various services within such as, "VolleyTotz," "VolleyKidz" and "VolleyPrep." This year Altitude is rocking out in an array of volleyball jerseys from the stock volleyball jersey, Rox Compliant Long Sleeve to our exclusive "Team Rox" Diamond Volleyball Jersey.
Most wouldn’t expect a successful volleyball club to merge with their arch-rival, but in order to grow their presence in the volleyball market, Altitude did just that. They recently merged with Diamond Elite Volleyball Academy creating Epic United Volleyball. Both the Altitude/DEVA brands still remain, but the new joint venture is called Epic United. We’re more than excited to be along for the ride by being the official outfitters for Altitude Volleyball Club and Diamond Elite Volleyball Academy as they grow as together into Epic United Volleyball!

]]>What type of training do you do in off-season?
My body was a little beat up after a long 2013 season so I've been working my butt off with the trainers at ProSport Fitness/Therapy in Newport Beach to get ready for 2014. They introduced me to Foundation Training - learning how to use my body/muscles correctly has rapidly increased my strength, balance and flexibility. Of course still lifting and doing cardio and plyometrics.
Do you have any trips planned for the holidays?
I visited my brother, Brett, in North Dakota for Thanksgiving! Even though there is absolutely nothing up there (besides oil) it was so much fun to see that part of the country and just relax! Mom sent a Honey Baked ham so we were all set for Thanksgiving dinner (I don't and can't cook)! Beginning of December my family took a trip to Snowmass, Colorado for some snow skiing and boarding! We used to go every year as kids, but we hadn't been in about 5 years so it was a blast to get back out there!
Do you have a New Years resolution?
I have never made a New Years resolution and I don't plan on changing that this year!
What are you going to ask Santa for this year?
I have no idea! I'm just excited that I'll be home in Florida spending time with all of my family. They mean the world to me - being with them is all that matters!
Do you have any big plans for the 2014 beach seasons?
I am planning to play a full FIVB season again in 2014, but I'm really looking forward to the AVPs! I love playing in the states in front of our fans! I'm enjoying my "time off" but I'm anxious to get back out there and get the season started!
Brooke, 27, has had a great pro beach career so far, even winning the AVP’s Best Defensive Player in 2013. We are lucky to have Brooke be apart of our team and wish her the best of luck for the upcoming season!
]]>On September 1, 2013 Rox Volleyball announced that they would be introducing new replica fan gear to their extensive volleyball line. Not only will you have the exact design of the club’s jerseys but you will also get to support your favorite player by having their name and number on the jersey. Your club must order 50+ fully custom sublimated jerseys to be able to order Replica Jerseys. There are no minimums on the number of Replica Jerseys you can order, but the team order must be placed all together. They will take roughly 6-8 weeks to ship from artwork approval and order placement.
