Colorado Part 2

With half the Rox crew gone, Jaime, Troy and Mel are left to man the booth by themselves!  Somehow they manage, but not without a few misadventures along the way!

The 3 musketeers, Jaime, Troy and Mel were the only three Rox’ers left at the Colorado Convention Center for the final weekend of the tournament.  Because of this, our model mannequin Selena, had to double as a security guard, and from what Mel tells us this was not a pretty picture.  A volley-baller bumped into her and all of a sudden there was arms and legs flying everywhere!

Other than the mannequin murder, the weekend went off without a hitch.  Before they knew it Sunday was approaching and it was time to break the booth down.  The three did it in record time!  After the ten hours, Jaime, Troy and Mel left the convention center, walked the five feet to the corner, where they found Bubba Gump Shrimp.

Cajun shrimp, fried shrimp, shrimp kebobs, coconut shrimp, shrimp soup,pineapple shrimp…

Cajun shrimp, fried shrimp, shrimp kebobs, coconut shrimp, shrimp soup, pineapple shrimp, and of course, shrimp cocktail.  If the name doesn’t give away the inspiration behind the cooking, the menu certainly does.  Somehow, even though they were the only three at Bubba’s, they saw and tasted every item on the menu!

Those of us that stayed behind feel very fortunate to have the Colorado Crew back, especially because we know how close they were to missing their flight. Had they stayed one minute later at Bubba’s they wouldn’t be back to help us unload the trucks that just arrived today!
