Posted on 08 February 2013
Saint Augustine, FL- Rox Volleyball (www.roxvolleyball.com) announced today the signing of professional beach volleyball player Brooke Sweat to a multi year endorsement contract. Sweat is known as one of the quickest and smartest players in the league. After a career best season in 2012, she is on track to be ranked one of the best players in the US.
“I am very excited and fortunate to be a part of the Rox team; I love their excitement and passion for the sport. Their fashion forward and quality beach apparel is very functional for what I do- diving and jumping in the sand all day long. Rox is a young, fun and stylish brand that I look forward to representing on beaches around the world in these upcoming years” said Brooke.
“Brooke’s achievements over the years both at the collegiate and professional levels make her the perfect advocate for Rox Volleyball,” says Danielle Olson, President at Rox Volleyball. “She is a leader and role model on and off the court and we value the impact she has on future generations of our sport.”

Sweat played on the inaugural team at Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating as the team's career leader in kills. She tallied over 1,000 kills and digs in her four years. After graduating in 2008, the 26 year old switched her focus solely on beach volleyball. She made the move from Florida to California in 2012 to begin playing with pro Jennifer Fopma. Last year she was selected to the USA Beach Elite Development Program, placed 3rd at the two 2012 AVP events, finished 3rd or better in all Jose Cuervo stops (less one 5th), was Jose Cuervo Milwaukee Shootout Champion and finished 2nd at Manhattan Beach Open. In January of this year, Brooke started training under Olympic silver medalist coach Jeff Conover.
