DTB Tour Stop Two : Siesta Key

While we may have dodged Tropical Storm Chantal, we did not dodge any rain at the second tour stop for Dig the Beach in Siesta Key.
Even with slightly flooded courts and a close call with lightning the player pushed through the elements to make it a great tournament. The Men's Open players played until sun down ultimately ending in a split between pairs of Brian Tillman, Dave Palm and Diogo Sousa, Austin Clubb. The Women's Open finished on Sunday with Olaya Pazo, Kendra VanZwieten taking home 1st over Karolina Sowala, Priscilla Uma. Unfortunately, Sowala had a minor leg injury causing a forfeit.
Sunday had much better weather for the juniors. There were plenty of girls showing off their Rox Volleyball Performance Beachwear in the tent and on the courts. Our next stop will be in on the Dig the Beach Tour will be in Fort Lauderdale, FL and we hope to see you there!
