Bio

CJ Macias was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and is one of the first Men's Pro Beach Volleyball Player to sport the new board short line by ROX Volleyball. Macias played in college for Indiana-Purdue Ft. Wayne Univeristy and continued onto play professionally indoor in Spain, Cyprus and Puerto Rico. 

ROX Volleyball signed Macias for the 2012 season to represent the new beachwear line because of his ability on the court, growth in his transition from indoor to outdoor and overall personality and passion off the court as well. Macias, with his father, are currently conducting a community service movement, Environet, that involves paddle boarding everyday to pick up trash in South Florida's waterways. in an effort to build awareness for this incredible movement, both have committed to growing their facial hair out until a goal of 2000 lbs of trash is removed. 

Macias chases his dream of catching the "big wave" and continues to train his surfing skills outside of his volleyball training schedule.
