Bio

Kristen started playing volleyball in the 7th grade, because, as she puts it, all her friends were doing it so why shouldn’t she?!  That first year she got cut from the team, which only inspired her to get better, and get better she did. 

Kristen graduated from Venice high school, playing volleyball throughout and earned herself a full scholarship to the University of Kentucky.  In 2005 Kristen moved to FL and started playing beach volleyball.  A year later she tore her meniscus, which led to her being out of the game for ten months, while this might have slowed some down, it only pushed Kristen harder! 

In 2010 Kristen and Brooke Sweat paired up, starting as a qualifier team they were a full time main draw team just after the 2nd AVP event!

9/26/11 UPDATE: Finished 7th at Hermosa Beach in the Jose Cuervo Pro Beach Tourny. This awesome duo will be playing in the AVP Championship Cup in Huntington Beach in October. They are seated as the #2 domestic team for the 2011 season! Way to go girls!
